A tour of Chicago’s magnificence might begin from the outside looking in when groups take to the water for cruises on Lake Michigan and along Chicago River. A view from the top of Willis Tower or the Hancock Observatory is another way to take in much of the city at once.
Walking tours are always favorites in a city like Chicago. The Magnificent Mile is a brilliant stretch of shops and dining experiences plus some of Chicago’s most famous buildings, including the Historic Water Tower. Grant Park is known as Chicago’s front yard and hosts Chicago’s world-class museum complex, including the Field Museum with many iconic exhibits, including the largest, intact T-Rex fossil. Other museum favorites include The Art Institute, Shedd Aquarium and Adler Planetarium. All are wonderful choices for any Chicago itinerary.
